Jefferson County Public Schools seeks an ECE Instructional Assistant for Rutherford Elementary School for the 2026-2027 year. This non-certified instructional role supports Exceptional Child Education students across MSD, MMD, OHI, EBD, AUT, VI, HI, LD, and related areas.

Responsibilities include assisting with IEPs, maintaining a safe learning environment, and collaborating with staff. Requires high school diploma or GED and/or 48 college hours; KPA exam may be required; district ECE training

Competenze

High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
Passing score on the KPA (Kentucky Paraeducator Exam) or 48 college semester hours.
Willingness and aptitude to work with students with disabilities.
Physical ability and willingness to assist with physical needs of students such as positioning, toileting, and lifting.
Willingness to attend district ECE in-service for professional growth.
