Qualifications

• Associate's degree or two years of college preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED with willingness to earn highly qualified status.
• Experience with K-12 students preferred; Kindergarten/1-2 experience preferred.
• Trauma-informed practices and positive behavior management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise learning activities and provide learning support to students.
• Assist teachers and reinforce instruction as prescribed by the supervising teacher.
• Manage student behavior and contribute to a positive classroom environment; support PBIS.
• Document progress and communicate observations to the teacher; maintain records.
• Escort students between activities and support social-emotional and behavioral needs.
