Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Able to meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 40 pounds.
• Experience with students with disabilities preferred.
• Specific skills as dictated by the needs of the students.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to students during instruction with modifications.
• Foster independence in the least restrictive environment.
• Assist students with assignments and follow up.
• Monitor behavior and implement interventions.
• Assist with personal care needs as required.
• Prepare instructional materials under teacher direction.
• Chart student progress data.
• Participate in professional development.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
