Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least 48 college semester units (courses numbered 100+) or AA/AS degree or higher.
• Successful completion of CAPE/IA exam before first day of hire or equivalent option.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with homework, enrichment, and activities to support inclusion.
• Maintain safety and well-being; de-escalation and behavioral interventions for high-risk behaviors.
• Support participants with meals and personal needs with dignity and proper transfer techniques.
• Administer health care support under supervision of a nurse.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents/guardians, and Expanded Learning staff.
• Attend relevant professional development opportunities.
