Qualifications

• Demonstrated competency in core academic subject area
• ESL Certification required for specific positions (Middle school English/LA, High school English/LA, Pre-K/elementary)

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum
• Differentiate instruction to accommodate individual student differences
• Present content according to TEA guidelines and district policies
• Plan and use instructional strategies and technology for diverse learners
• Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula per IEP
• Manage classroom and support staff/adult volunteers
• Establish communication with families and colleagues
• Participate in staff development and comply with district policies
