Job summary

South Washington County Schools is seeking a Special Needs Child Care Leader to support students in out-of-school time programs. You will collaborate with site staff to implement inclusive accommodations and address individual needs.

The role requires coordinating with supervisors and coordinators while floating between sites. It offers a 12-month schedule, full- and part-time hours, and opportunities for involvement in leadership meetings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 120 hours of relevant training and one year of related experience.
• Associates Degree with 6 months of related experience.
• Bachelor's Degree with 3 months of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead inclusive activities and games.
• Lead inclusion-based initiatives.
• Take attendance and communicate with parents during drop-off and pick-up.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and positive environment for our students.
• Coach and mentor for other program staff.
• Attend regular staff leadership meetings.
• Open and close the program as needed.
