South Washington County Schools (SoWashCo) is hiring a Special Needs Child Care Leader in Minnesota to work across our out-of-school time programs. The role supports social-emotional health and safety, collaborates with site teams, and backs up Site Supervisors as needed.

The position can be full-time or part-time and involves traveling between sites. The role emphasizes inclusive practices, attendance tracking, and coaching staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 120 hours of relevant training and 1 year of experience.
• First Aid and CPR certification (or must be obtained within 90 days of employment).
• Pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead activities with focus on inclusion.
• Lead inclusion-based initiatives.
• Take attendance and communicate with parents at drop-off/pick-up.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and positive environment.
• Coach and mentor program staff.
• Attend regular staff leadership meetings.
• Open and close the program as needed.
