Legends Global is seeking an Incident Report Writer for U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. The role involves responding to security and medical incidents and documenting events in the incident management system.

You will gather information from security, EMS, stadium staff, and law enforcement, ensuring complete and accurate reports. The position is part-time, hourly, non-exempt with a $25.00/hour compensation.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associates degree or higher preferred.
  • Previous experience writing incident reports in security, law enforcement, emergency medical services, or other first responder environment required.
  • Previous event operations, stadium, arena, or large scale event experience preferred.
  • Experience working with first responders preferred.
  • Certification in NIMS 100/200, 300/400, & 700/800
  • Previous experience working in high volume, fast paced operational environments preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to security, medical, guest, operational, and other incidents occurring during stadium events.
  • Gather accurate and timely information regarding incidents, including involved parties, location, circumstances, and action(s) taken.
  • Document incidents in the stadium's incident management system in a timely, thorough, and accurate manner.
  • Communicate with law enforcement, EMS, private security personnel, stadium staff, management, and other responding agencies as necessary.
  • Monitor and communicate incident information using multiple methods, including radio and telephone communications.
  • Understand and follow general stadium security, emergency response, and incident management procedures.
  • Assist with communication and coordination during emergencies and other significant incidents.
  • Maintain situational awareness and identify when additional resources or assistance may be required.
  • Interact professionally with guests, employees, contractors, vendors, law enforcement, emergency responders, and other stake holders.
  • Use sound judgement to de-escalate situation and maintain a professional and controlled environment.
  • Review incident documentation following events to ensure reports are complete, accurate, and properly entered into the incident management system.
  • Follow up on incomplete or outstanding incident information and obtain additional details when necessary.
  • Protect confidential and sensitive incident information and always maintain professional discretion.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of stadium security and event operations.

SUMMARY

The Incident Report Writer is an event based member of the Legends Global Security Team responsible for responding to security and medical incidents and accurately documenting events as they occur. This position gathers information from private security personnel, law enforcement, emergency medical services, stadium staff, and other involved parties. This information will be documented in the stadium's incident management system. The Incident Report Writer will also ensure that reports are complete, accurate, and properly documented.


VENUE INFO

U.S. Bank Stadium, owned by the Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority, is a multi-purpose stadium located in the heart of Minneapolis, Minnesota. With over 66,000 seats, this state-of-the-art facility hosts a dynamic range of events, including the Minnesota Vikings, concerts, family shows, college and high school sporting events, conventions, trade and consumer shows, community events, corporate meetings, receptions, private celebrations, and guided tours. Since opening in July 2016, U.S. Bank Stadium has hosted 2,000 events with over 10.3 million guests.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE


  • High School diploma or equivalent required.

  • Associates degree or higher preferred.

  • Previous experience writing incident reports in security, law enforcement, emergency medical services, or other first responder environment required.

  • Previous event operations, stadium, arena, or large scale event experience preferred.

  • Experience working with first responders preferred.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS


  • Ability to work under limited supervision and to interact with all levels of staff including management.

  • Ability to work long and irregular hours that may vary due to functions and may include day, evening, weekends and holidays.

  • Experience operating security technology systems including CCTV, electronic access control, and incident management systems.
