Job summary

Hagerty Consulting, Inc. recruits Incident Management Team (IMT) Members to support state and local governments during disasters. This is a contract-based deployment on a roster for responding to major incidents.

Responsibilities include ICS/NIMS operations, EOC support, and coordinating with partner agencies. Candidates must be ready to travel on short notice and stay deployed up to 30 days across the United States, with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• At least seven (7) years of professional emergency management experience.
• Experience working in an Emergency Operations Center (EOC) or as part of an Incident Management Team (IMT).
• NIMS ICS All-Hazards position-specific training/certifications preferred.
• Task Book(s) for Command and General Staff and/or Support Positions preferred.
• Ability to travel within 24–72 hours of notice and remain deployed for up to 30 days across the United States.

Responsibilities

• Operate within the Incident Command System (ICS) and National Incident Management System (NIMS).
• Support activation and operations of Emergency Operation Centers (EOCs) during incidents and exercises.
• Support the completion of client incident objectives and coordinate with partner agencies and ESFs.
• Coordinate logistics and resource management to support field operations and mission execution.
• Understand how jurisdictions coordinate together during large-scale incidents.
