Job summary

Venture Together, Inc. is seeking an Incident Management Investigator to conduct objective, thorough, and timely investigations of reportable incidents involving individuals receiving services in our programs.

The Investigator reports to the Director of Quality Assurance and Incident Management and collaborates to identify trends, recommend corrective actions, and promote health, safety, and welfare of individuals we serve.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience providing services to people with Developmental Disabilities and familiarity with OPWDD regulations preferred.
• Experience conducting investigations and preparing investigative reports preferred.
• Excellent communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct objective, thorough, and timely investigations of reportable incidents involving individuals receiving services.
• Identify trends, recommend corrective actions, and conduct training as part of the Incident Management Program.
• Promote the health, safety, and welfare of individuals receiving services.
• Report to the Director of Quality Assurance and Incident Management.

Incident Management Investigator JOB SUMMARY

The Incident Management Investigator is responsible for conducting objective, thorough, and timely investigations of reportable incidents involving individuals receiving services. The Investigator ensures compliance with New York State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) regulations, Justice Center requirements, agency policies, and applicable federal and state laws. The position contributes to the agency’s Incident Management Program by identifying trends, recommending corrective actions, conducting training, and promoting the health, safety, and welfare of individuals receiving services.

The Incident Management Investigator reports to the Director of Quality Assurance and Incident Management.

Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
