Job summary

Surefox North America Inc. in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Security Officer (Flex) to join our on-call team and protect client sites. You will perform patrols, monitor access, and respond to emergencies under the guidance of Shift Supervisors and Area Managers.

The role requires a valid St. Louis security license, ability to pass background checks and SPAT, and strong observation and communication skills. We welcome veterans and reserve personnel in a dynamic, professional environment.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible for employment within the United States.
• Must be a minimum of 18 years old per state licensing guidelines.
• Must pass extensive background check and drug screening.
• Must have a current St. Louis security license or eligible to qualify for a security license.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated competence in reacting to and handling emergencies.
• Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with clients, facilitate collaboration, and influence across departments.
• Track and report on program performance assurance and compliance requirements.
• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot and monitor access.
• Watch for unusual activity and respond immediately and safely to emergencies on-site.
• Contact police or fire department if there is an emergency.
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect company property.
• Prepare reports on accidents, incidents and suspicious activities.
• Provide assistance to employees and create a safe environment for visitors and clients.
• Attend project meetings to assess security implications of proposed changes.
• Work independently and maintain high-level attentiveness and energy.
