US Foods, Inc. seeks a seasoned Category Manager to implement and tailor category strategies across Distribution Centers in the specified Area. You will evaluate local assortments, coordinate with sales teams, culinary partners, and vendors to optimize margins and deliver merchandising goals.
You will lead product introductions, train staff, and support area bids while aligning with national strategies. A four-year business degree and 7+ years in category management in food sectors are expected,
Formación
- Minimum 7 years category management experience required, ideally in food service or food manufacturing.
- Ability to operate in a matrix organization and drive cross-functional change.
- Strong business acumen, interpersonal and presentation skills.
Responsabilidades
- Develop and implement area category strategy across multiple DCs.
- Review area assortment, identify slow or dead SKUs and growth opportunities.
- Coordinate with sales, culinary and vendor partners to meet regional goals.
- Lead training on new products and ensure brand alignment with US Foods strategy.
- Support area bids, onboarding, and data-driven decision making.
