Job summary

WebstaurantStore in Baytown, TX is seeking an Inbound Material Handler to unload, check in, and stock new inventory in the warehouse. You will operate forklift equipment or hand-pull items, and use the ERP system to receive inventory accurately and place it in storage racks.

Candidates should be safety-minded, able to work with teammates to hit daily targets, and willing to flex into other duties as needed. The role may involve lifting up to 75 lbs and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• 1 year+ relevant experience in a distribution environment preferred but not required.
• No degree required; skills and experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Unload live domestic deliveries from trailers using forklift equipment or unload import containers by hand.
• Use ERP system to receive inventory accurately and ready to be stored.
• Move palletized product using pallet jacks/forklift to organize receiving dock and storage areas.
• Scan and place inventory in racking locations using forklift equipment and handheld scanners.
• Operate warehouse equipment following safety protocols and maintain clean, safe work environment.
• Meet daily, weekly, and monthly departmental performance targets for efficiency, accuracy, and quality.
• Follow company security and warehouse policies; report hazards to leadership.
• Flex into other positions/departments as needed to support operations.
