Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience managing receiving, inbound and outbound warehouse activities.
• Strong inventory control knowledge including lot, expiration, and location accuracy.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to train, coach, and discipline staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily receiving, inbound, and outbound warehouse activities.
• Coordinate unloading, receiving, inspection, counting, and putaway of inbound shipments.
• Ensure inbound product matches PO, transfer docs, packing lists and receiving docs.
• Prioritize inbound workload based on inventory needs, dock capacity and labor.
• Monitor receiving productivity and meet service level targets; investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain organized docks, prevent inbound inventory from piling up, and escalate issues.
• Coordinate putaway to move received inventory into storage locations quickly and accurately.
• Collaborate with purchasing, inventory, and transportation to resolve inbound issues.
• Improve receiving procedures to increase throughput, accuracy, visibility and accountability.
• Support broader warehouse operations as needed including replenishment and layout improvements.
