• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Receive goods and verify quantity, quality, and price as ordered.
• Note any discrepancies and notify Yard Foreman.
• Maintain receiving logs and disposition of paperwork for goods received.
• Put away goods before end of shift; move and store special order merchandise.
• Notify Yard Foreman of changes to on-hand counts and report discrepancies.
• Support customer service needs and assist other yard functions as needed.
