Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc in Orlando, FL, is seeking a warehouse associate responsible for receiving and putting away inbound produce, rotating stock (FIFO), and operating powered equipment safely. You will help keep pallets clear, support sanitation, and ensure accurate accounting of incoming product in a fast-paced distribution center.

Candidates should have at least a high school diploma or GED, six months in a warehouse, and proficiency with stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners.

Qualifications

• Must have strong reading, writing, and be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Able to perform work assignments at an acceptable productivity level.
• Interact professionally with others in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Receives and puts away all inbound produce.
• Ensures product is put away in proper rotation (FIFO).
• Safe operation of powered industrial equipment.
• Ensures selection slots are properly stocked with the product, keeps pallets free from tape, wrap or wires, and removes empty pallets as needed.
• Responsible for the cleaning and sanitation of the work area.
• Accounting for the received product.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
