Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC in Laurel, MD is seeking a Warehouse Associate responsible for putting away inbound produce and maintaining proper stock rotation. The role requires safe operation of powered equipment and accurate handling of received goods.

Responsibilities include maintaining sanitation, stocking selection slots, and assisting with related warehouse tasks as needed. Six months in a warehouse and forklift experience are preferred, with fluency in English expected.

Qualifications

• Six months warehouse experience.
• Experience operating a stand-up forklift and riding pallet jack preferred.
• RF scanners and replenishment experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of fresh produce preferred.
• English reading/writing and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Receives and puts away all inbound produce.
• Ensures product is put away in proper rotation (FIFO).
• Safe operation of powered industrial equipment.
• Keeps pallets free from tape, wrap or wires and removes empty pallets as needed.
• Responsible for cleaning and sanitation of the work area.
• Accounting for the received product.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
