Job summary

Sysco Corp. is seeking a forklift inbound associate to unload and put away inbound produce in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will operate a stand-up forklift, ensure correct rotation (FIFO), and help maintain inventory accuracy and safety.

Responsibilities include safe operation of powered industrial equipment, keeping pallets organized, cleaning work areas, and assisting with other duties as needed by supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months warehouse experience required.
• Experience with stand-up forklift and pallet jack preferred.
• Basic knowledge of fresh produce preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives and puts away inbound produce.
• Ensures product is put away in proper rotation (FIFO).
• Safe operation of powered industrial equipment.
• Ensures selection slots are stocked; keep pallets free from tape, wrap or wires.
• Remove empty pallets as needed and maintain cleanliness.
• Account for received product.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
