Job summary

WAI is seeking an Inbound Team Lead to support the Receiving area in our Mississippi distribution center. The role will coordinate, train, and participate in activities around verifying, receiving goods, record-keeping, replenishment, and put-away operations while meeting daily inbound targets.

You will help plan and monitor unloading, staging, and movement of materials, partnering with management to resolve issues, and ensuring accuracy with POs and packing lists.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 4 years’ related experience or equivalent combination.
• Must be able to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze receiving notices, packing slips to set priorities and determine receiving methods.
• Plan, organize, participate in, and monitor receiving, storage, and distribution processes for all received items.
• Provide training and coordination to assigned personnel for unloading and movement of materials.
• Maintain records of unfilled received shipments.
• Resolve discrepancies with accounting related to invoices and packing slips.
• Coordinate with carrier reps to arrange deliveries and ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure safety and 5S principles are followed daily to optimize workflow.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
