Job summary

Eaton Corporation in Duncan, SC is seeking a Material Handler (Inbound Breakdown) for the 1st shift. Core hours are 4:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Overtime may be required. The hourly rate is $19.00 per hour.

The role involves separating orders from the supplier center, ensuring proper material orientation, unloading, palletizing, wrapping, resolving discrepancies, and following safety procedures. RF scanners are used daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Eaton will not sponsor CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans or other visa sponsorship.
• No relocation benefit; candidates within a 50-mile radius of Duncan, SC will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Verify styles and quantities of materials shipped and process inbound shipments.
• Unload sell packs from master boxes and palletize boxes as necessary.
• Wrap pallets for put away per supervisor/lead direction.
• Resolve discrepancies and research solutions to ensure order accuracy.
• Follow written and oral instructions and adhere to company policies and safety procedures.
• Maintain quality workmanship and observe safety procedures; report unsafe acts.
• Use RF scanner and computer keyboard; stand, bend, reach, lift, push and pull.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as workload requires.
