The role involves managing in-transit raw material inventory from Asia, optimizing routes, and preparing transport plans while controlling costs such as demurrage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, SCM, Business Management or related field.
• 3+ years of logistics and transportation experience.
• Strong knowledge of logistics, transportation, and customs.
• Ability to travel overseas and domestically.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and track in-transit raw material inventory from overseas to factory arrival.
• Track, operate, and monitor materials across truck, rail, sea and air modes.
• Create and share shipping reports and ensure accuracy.
• Monitor procurement and shipment from origin and check vessel space.
• Search for reliable LSPs and bid to reduce cost.
• Prevent irregular costs by monitoring demurrage/detention.
• Set transportation KPIs and report to supervisors weekly.
