Applied Optoelectronics, Inc. (AOI) is recruiting a Receiving Planner for its Sugar Land, Texas campus.

This full-time onsite role coordinates inbound and outbound material movements across onsite and offsite locations, including VMI hubs, suppliers, subcontractors, and customers. You will manage shipping docs, PO receiving, drop-ship transactions, and inventory records in SAP to support on-time delivery and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive approach to work.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily outbound deliveries, including orders and related shipments.
• Prepare shipping documents and invoices.
• Complete required export filings in ACE.
• Monitor VMI/VOI hub inventory movements and SAP entries.
• Monitor offsite material flows and drop-ship transactions.
• Record drop-ship transactions promptly in SAP and collect POD.
• Identify and resolve issues with offsite hubs.
• Communicate with internal and external customers to support operations.
• Verify SAP entries for deliveries and receipts.
• Maintain complete and accurate records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
