Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of warehouse experience.
• Pass mandatory ergonomics testing.
• Working knowledge of Sysco safety and security policies, equipment and operation of warehouse equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to disseminate numerical data.
• Manage work time efficiently.
• Follow procedures and policies.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Identify and solve problems.
• Must handle pressure of deadline-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Conform to equipment operation rules (tugs, forklifts, pallet jacks) to reduce accidents and injuries.
• Guarantee equipment is maintained and clean; report repair needs to reduce damage.
• Observe all safety, regulations, and sanitation policies to reduce accidents and injuries.
• Use equipment horns when driving out of storage areas, in obstructed view areas, and at intersections to reduce accidents and injuries.
• Plug equipment into a power source when not in use to ensure fully operational equipment.
