Job summary

Target is hiring an Inbound Expert to support General Merchandise operations in our New York store. You will sort, stock and organize merchandise, keep GM categories in stock and accurately priced, and assist guests with their needs throughout the shift.

You’ll work in a fast-paced retail environment, follow safety guidelines, operate handheld scanners, and participate in team tasks to meet daily sales goals. Training is provided to help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18+
• Able to lift up to 44 pounds
• Flexible schedule including nights/holidays

Responsibilities

• Execute a detailed, accurate sorting operation.
• Stock, organize and store reserve product and straighten merchandise on sales floor.
• Maintain product availability on the salesfloor for GM categories.
• Operate powered equipment as necessary while unloading freight or moving merchandise.
• Process defective merchandise and handle ESIM items in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks.
• Work in a safe manner at all times; comply with safety policies, training; report hazards and correct where possible.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up (OPU) and Drive up (DU) and maintain a compliance culture while executing those duties
