Job summary

Prismo Marketing is seeking a Front-End Web Developer to build fully custom, responsive websites and landing pages for diverse clients. You’ll implement technical SEO and translate designs from Figma into working prototypes while ensuring mobile and cross-browser compatibility.

You’ll collaborate with designers, developers, and marketers, support existing sites, and contribute to estimating new projects. A portfolio and a detail-oriented mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• You have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• You have 1-2 years of front-end development experience.
• You have a portfolio of website projects to share.
• You craft websites that match designer intent with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop cross-browser and cross-platform websites, forms, and landing pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, often with WordPress.

• Test and debug mobile responsiveness across devices and browsers.

Front-End Web Developer (Inactive)

Full-Time | Hybrid

As a Front-End Web Developer, you’ll work collaboratively with the Prismo Marketing team to develop a wide range of fully custom and responsive websites, interactive forms, and landing pages for our clients. You’ll develop new websites, support our existing clients’ websites, implement technical SEO best practices, and make recommendations based on client functionality requirements. You have a passion for clean, beautiful websites, which means you also have an excellent grasp of development best practices, technical SEO, and an eye for what makes a website strong. User experience fuels everything you do, and you’re familiar with the process of creating sitemaps and wireframes as an essential step for building a website that serves to delight its target audience. You enjoy collaborating with other developers, designers, and marketers, and always ensure your tasks are completed on time and exceed client expectations.

About You

• You’re a team player with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• You have 1-2 years of experience with front-end development.
• You have a portfolio of website projects that you’re proud to share.
• You have an eye for detail – crafting websites that look exactly like our designers intended.
• You work well under pressure and eat tight deadlines for breakfast (coffee is also acceptable).
• You’re open to helping your teammates with tasks outside of typical website development—troubleshooting issues, providing feedback, participating in meetings, strategizing, etc.

Position Responsibilities

• Develop cross-browser and cross-platform solutions (websites, interactive forms, landing pages) using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, often using WordPress.
• Translate Figma wireframes and designs into working prototypes and digital platforms.
• Test and debug mobile responsiveness across multiple browsers and devices.
• Implement technical SEO best practices in everything you develop.
• Support and improve existing client websites.
• Write clean, semantic, and easily maintainable code based on industry best practices.
• Work collaboratively with our team members, leadership teams, and clients to develop websites and landing pages that provide excellent user experiences.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss creative and marketing tactics and strategies for internal and external purposes.
• Contribute to estimating new projects and project interdependencies with other designers, content writers, developers, project managers, and team leaders.
• Work with a variety of systems and software, including, but not limited to, WordPress, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Suite, HubSpot, Wrike, and more. *
• Participate in client communications and meetings as needed.
• Prioritize and ensure projects are completed on time.

*Please note: While Figma and WordPress are our standard development platforms, there are times when we collaborate with Agency Partners that use Adobe XD for website design or Clients that may have websites on Shopify, Squarespace, or another builder.
