Job summary

Keros Therapeutics is seeking a motivated student for a 6-month co-op in our preclinical research group, focusing on cardiovascular abnormalities and bone diseases.

You will gain hands-on experience with in vivo and ex vivo methods, learn experimental design and data interpretation, and contribute to the discovery of next-generation therapies in a collaborative, cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in physiology, biology, biochemistry, or related fields.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional team and independently with supervision.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; proficient with MS Office and data plotting.

Responsibilities

• Supports In Vivo studies with rodents: handling, dosing (IP/IV/SC/PO), bleeding and tissue collection.
• Performs basic molecular biology techniques: RNA isolation, qPCR, Western Blot, ELISA.
• Maintains detailed records of procedures, results and analyses in lab notebooks.
• Participates in experimental planning, data interpretation and presents findings at team meetings.
