Lilly is seeking a hands-on scientist to join the in-vivo team in Discovery Oncology. The role centers on executing mouse studies to support target identification, efficacy assessment, and de-risking on-target toxicities, with auxiliary cell culture work.

The position emphasizes protocol-driven work, data collection, and collaboration within a vivarium and lab setting on-site in South San Francisco, CA.

Competenze

• Associate degree or BS in related field with in-vivo experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• Following study designs, protocols, and SOPs with accuracy.

Mansioni

• Execute mouse studies: tumor implants, dosing, basic necropsy.
• Record tumor volumes, weights, and observations; monitor health.
• Support dosing and necropsy for other team members; weekend coverage as needed.
• Harvest and process tumor and tissue samples; bank for analysis.
• Perform basic in-vitro cell culture to support implantation studies.
• Maintain inventory of lab supplies for in-vivo work.
• Adhere to IACUC protocols and lab standards; ensure safe vivarium operations.
• Summarize data and present results to project team.
