Job summary

A biotech startup in Cambridge, MA, is seeking a Research Associate to assist with in vivo pharmacology studies aimed at advancing mRNA-modulating therapies. The ideal candidate will have a BS/MS in related Life Sciences and hands-on experience with rodent models. They will establish readouts for therapeutic candidates, maintain mouse lines, and execute diverse assays. This role provides a chance to impact patients with unmet medical needs while being part of a collaborative scientific team.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years’ experience working in a life science research lab.
• Candidates with experience in post-hoc procedures including tissue extraction and processing.
• Familiarity with various dosing routes in mice is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Establish readouts for in vivo efficacy in animal models.
• Maintain and characterize mutant mouse lines.
• Execute and troubleshoot diverse assays.
• Prepare high quality reports and presentations.

Skills

Hands-on experience with rodent animal models

Education

BS/MS in Neuroscience, Physiology, Molecular/Cellular Biology
