Job summary

Zoetis is seeking an animal research technician at the Richland site to support day-to-day facility operations and study execution for companion animals. Primary responsibilities include in-vivo study activities, sample collection, data recording, and adherence to SOPs and regulatory requirements.

The role involves animal husbandry, treatments, cleaning and disinfecting areas, assisting veterinarians, and providing training to peers, with weekend and holiday rotation as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma + 4 years related experience or education combined.
• Desirable attributes: Veterinary technician license/certification, AALAS Certification, previous in vivo research experience, ability to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assists with all aspects of study execution including in-vivo study protocol review and data collection.
• Performs animal husbandry, treatments, record keeping, and lab/instrument maintenance per SOPs and policies.
• Cleans and disinfects animal areas; ensures protocol and SOP adherence.
