Zoetis in Richland, MI is seeking an Animal Research Technician to support day-to-day animal facility operations and portfolio execution. You will work with companion animals (dog and cat) in a regulated research environment, following SOPs and Institutional Policies. Weekend and holiday work on a rotation is required.

Primary duties include study execution, animal care, data collection, record keeping and collaboration with veterinarians and researchers to ensure compliant, high-quality studies.

Qualificações

• Experience in a fast-paced animal research environment.
• Ability to follow SOPs and institutional policies.
• Strong math and reading comprehension.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with in-vivo study execution and data collection per protocol.
• Perform animal husbandry, treatments, record keeping and equipment maintenance.
• Clean and disinfect animal areas and ensure welfare compliance.
• Follow SOPs and contribute to protocol execution and training.
• Collaborate with lead technicians, manager and researchers.
• Support veterinarians with clinical care and procedures.
• Provide training on standard animal procedures as needed.
• Share knowledge and contribute to process improvements.
