Job summary

Amgen seeks an Associate Scientist in vivo Pharmacology to join a fast-paced, integrated research group focused on immuno-oncology. You will generate and communicate pharmacology data to support oncology program progression.

The role requires mastery of in vivo/in vitro techniques, tumor models, dosing routes, and data interpretation, with collaboration across departments and robust documentation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with 1 year in vivo pharmacology or a Bachelor's with 3 years in vivo pharmacology and lab experience.
• Hands-on experience with preclinical cancer models preferred.
• Experience administering drugs via various routes and with in vivo imaging (BLI) is desirable.
• Attention to detail and ability to translate data into high-quality results.

Responsibilities

• Design, conduct, analyze, and report in vivo and in vitro studies.
• Handle tumor inoculation, dosing, collection of blood/tissue, and model development.
• Perform cellular assays and flow cytometry for data interpretation.
• Maintain equipment, record-keeping, and data analysis with timely reporting.
• Present findings at cross-departmental meetings.
