Job summary

Amgen is seeking an Associate Scientist in In vivo Pharmacology within the inflammation space. You will execute in vivo preclinical disease models and in vitro assays in vivarium and lab to support pipeline programs.

The role requires hands-on experience with in vivo techniques, flow cytometry, and a strong understanding of Immunology and inflammation biology. Collaboration, meticulous data handling, and the ability to work in a dynamic team are essential.

Qualifications

• Masters degree with 1 year of Immunology or related experience or Bachelors with 3 years of Immunology or related experience.
• Hands-on experience with in vivo techniques including dosing routes (i.v., i.p., p.o., i.n., i.t., r.o., i.d., s.c.), bleeds, necropsy and organ collection.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on in vivo work primarily in mice, possibly rats in the vivarium.
• Provide technical support for studies including dosing, sample collection, health checks and study setup.
• Work with Scientists to design and execute experiments and meet study timelines.
• Communicate results to the team and follow established protocols and safety procedures.
• Support in vitro assays as required and participate in weekend/evening dosing rotations if needed.
