Job summary

Eurofins Scientific is seeking an In Vivo Scientist to contribute to HIV discovery research, focusing on virus production, characterization, and support of HIV discovery efforts.

The role involves designing and executing HIV production workflows, using primary human cells and immortalized cell lines, with flow cytometry, RT-qPCR, ELISA, and related assays. PhD required and US work authorization. Mon-Fri schedule; comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences, Microbiology, Immunology, Virology, or related field; equivalent combination acceptable.
• Demonstrated HIV research experience and BSL-2 operations; strong HIV publication record preferred.
• Familiarity with HIV host-pathogen interactions and viral propagation/characterization techniques.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, execution, optimization, and characterization of HIV production workflows and inventory management.
• Conduct HIV discovery research using primary human cells and immortalized cell lines.
• Perform and analyze experiments using multi-parameter flow cytometry, RT-qPCR, PCR, ELISA, and MSD assays.
• Generate and characterize stable cell lines expressing proteins of interest.
• Support in vivo studies, including tissue collection and ex vivo viral RNA isolation.
