Job summary

Aequor is seeking a capable scientist to independently conduct routine in vitro studies and assist in non-routine cell-based and biochemical assays. You will interpret results, troubleshoot experiments, and maintain rigorous records.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s degree or a Bachelor’s with 3+ years of related experience, with strong aseptic culture and molecular biology skills, and excellent communication abilities. On-site role based in Ridgefield, CT.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years in a related scientific discipline; pharma/biotech or CRO experience is desirable.
• Experience with aseptic tissue culture and basic molecular biology techniques (nucleic acid extraction, RT-PCR, Western blot, ELISA, transfection) required.
• Strong experimental design, execution, interpretation skills and data analysis abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to report concisely and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Initiates and completes routine in vitro studies independently with minimal supervision.
• Interprets outcomes and proposes follow-up steps; troubleshoots experimental issues.
• Assists in design and execution of non-routine assays and exploratory experiments.
• Maintains electronic lab notebooks, adheres to SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Communicates work effectively, contributes to protocols and technical reports.
