General Motors is seeking an experienced Quality Designer for the Human Interface Design Vehicle Studio. You will review infotainment software against design intent and brand requirements, collaborating with Product, Design, Software, and Validation teams to identify defects and improve customer experience across GM’s vehicle displays.

You will conduct design-led reviews, document findings with evidence, and drive clear outcomes with cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

Formal training or a degree in Interface Design, Visual Design, or a related discipline.
Proficiency with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
Excellent collaboration and communication with cross-functional teams.

Responsabilités

Conduct design-led software reviews of in-vehicle infotainment experiences across all screens and displays.
Identify, analyze, and document implementation defects, design clarifications, and work-as-designed findings with clear evidence, impact, priority, and next steps.
Partner with Product, Design, Engineering, Software, and Validation teams to resolve issues and improve experiences as needed.
Lead or participate in emulator, bench or vehicle software reviews to verify design intent.
Report and manage software defects through Jira and other systems, maintaining ownership and closure.
