• Implement Emergency Operating Procedures and direct steps to stabilize the plant during abnormal conditions.
• Review design changes, 10 CFR 50.59 applicability, and station procedures.
• Oversee outages, special projects, and qualifications for operating staff.
• Direct shift personnel on rotating 12-hour shifts to operate the nuclear power plant safely.
