Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living offers a 6-month Director of Resident Care Services In-Training program to prepare you for leadership as a Director of Resident Care Services/DON. You will shadow experienced leaders, manage care teams, and liaise with physicians, residents, and families within our assisted living and memory care communities.

The program emphasizes hands-on learning, regulatory understanding, and structured mentorship, with eventual promotion based on performance and company needs.

Qualifications

• Active LVN, LPN, or RN nursing license in applicable state(s).
• Minimum 1 year of employment experience as a nurse.
• Management/supervisory experience in Assisted Living preferred.
• Nursing experience in Assisted Living, Memory Care, or LTC preferred.
• Must be able to relocate after training for a Director role.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and common tech tools.
• Work a flexible 24-hour operation including mornings/evenings/holidays.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Consistent, reliable attendance for all Belmont Village employees.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a hands-on rotational program covering care and clinical services.
• Learn to supervise licensed nurses, medication techs, and caregivers.
• Serve as liaison between physicians, residents, and families.
• Participate in an on-call schedule for after-hours needs.
• Develop leadership skills through mentorship and feedback.
