Job summary

Chipton-Ross, Inc. is hiring Aircraft Mechanic II for integral fuel cell in-tank assembly in San Antonio, TX. This 100% onsite role requires you to join the Joint and Installation team to assemble wing structures and integrate plumbing, electrical components and systems.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year experience with power tools, reading instructions, and handling diverse mechanical tasks. Positions require flexibility to work 1st or 2nd shifts and strict attendance; training completion is a

Qualifications

1+ year of experience with hand held power tools.
1+ year of experience following oral and written instructions.
Able to access a wing fuel tank opening (approx. 18"x10").
Willing to work a variable shift (1st or 2nd).
Regular and predictable attendance is required.

Responsibilities

Assemble and install parts and sub-assemblies to build wing assemblies including sealing, plumbing and electrical components.
Read and interpret technical work instructions, drawings and specifications.
Operate drills, riveters and other hand tools; inspect work for quality and FOD.
Work on composite/metal aircraft and perform assembly on major wing structures.
Use appropriate lifts and equipment to access elevated areas; ensure safety and compliance.
