Job summary

Compass Group USA, through Levy, is seeking a Suite Runner in Richmond, VA to deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in-suite. The role requires understanding the menu, timely delivery, and strict adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines.

You will assist with area setup and breakdown and support event operations throughout service periods. The position involves standing for long periods, moving equipment, and working in a fast-paced venue environment.

• Assist with area setup and breakdown.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all food and beverage is properly delivered and/or stored.
• Pick up food from the kitchen and deliver it to guests in-seat.
• Knowledgeable on all menu offerings.
• Follows set up and break down processes efficiently.
• Thoroughly completes all event set-up and breakdown responsibilities within timelines provided.
• Performs post event product inventory and restocks as needed.
• Understands all event paperwork and reports.
• Adheres to location appearance guidelines.
• Acts with a sense of urgency and professionalism.
• Maintains prep and service areas.
• Employs good safety and sanitation practices.
• Understands the importance of maintaining equipment.
• Helps fellow employees whenever necessary.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Stand for long periods of time and be able to actively engage physically with guests.
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• React with physical and mental alertness in emergency situations.
• Demonstrate physical stamina and agility required to be mobile for long periods throughout the day.
• Lift/move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Move from sitting to standing position easily and quickly.
