Job summary

Intuit Inc. is seeking energetic TurboTax Retail Experts to work on-site at a TurboTax Retail or Flagship location across the United States. You’ll provide full-service tax return prep, tax advice, and software support to walk-in customers, building relationships and growing the local client base.

You’ll act as the trusted advisor in a storefront setting, engaging with the community and leveraging marketing tools to help clients achieve favorable tax outcomes while wearing the TurboTax uniform.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or be able to obtain related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax-related content and resources for your community in accordance with Intuit’s policies.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform.
• Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador: Represent TurboTax locally, engage with prospects, nurture leads, and convert prospects into long-term clients; participate in local marketing with TurboTax support.
• Provide Tax Expertise: Give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers, handle simple to complex tax situations, and perform tax planning advice.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience: Ensure professionalism and client-centric service, build long-term trust, and assist via in-person and TurboTax video tools.
