Job summary

Mondelēz International in Maryland is seeking a Full Time Nabisco Merchandiser/Order Writer to service stores, stock shelves, build displays, and place orders using the iPad. You will work with sales reps to optimize visibility of Oreo, Ritz, Chips Ahoy and others.

Qualified candidates are 18+, have a REAL ID driver license or passport, own a vehicle, and can lift up to 25 lbs (50 lbs team lift). Retail experience is a plus; live within 25 miles of Laurel, MD with four days/week plus one weekend

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with REAL ID driver’s license, U.S. passport, or federal ID to access bases.
• Positive, professional attitude; able to work independently.
• Own a personal vehicle and be willing to drive to various store locations.
• Physically able to lift up to 25 lbs, with occasional pushes/pulls up to 50 lbs.
• Previous retail/grocery experience is a plus.
• Live within 25 miles of Laurel, MD; secondary locations in Burtonsville, etc.
• Schedule: four days a week plus one weekend day.

Responsibilities

• Merchandises shelves and builds promotional displays.
• Represents Mondelēz in stores and coordinates with sales reps.
• Orders products via iPad to keep shelves stocked.
• Ensures Nabisco brands are well represented and displays maintained.
• Follows in-store plans and communicates issues to management.
• Works according to merchandising manager’s daily schedule.
• Supports seasonal promotions and product launches.
• Maintains positive customer-facing attitude in stores.
