Job summary

American Residential Services (ARS) is hiring In-Store Scheduling & Marketing Representatives to represent our HVAC and plumbing services inside national home improvement retail stores in Houston, TX. You will engage with customers, start friendly conversations, educate them about HVAC and tune-ups, and schedule in-home consultations or service appointments.

We offer flexible part-time and full-time schedules, paid training, weekly pay, and uncapped commission.

Qualifications

• Outgoing personality and willingness to speak with shoppers.
• Retail or sales experience preferred (not required).
• Ability to stand and walk during shifts.
• Weekend and some holiday availability.
• Reliable transportation.
• Clean, professional appearance representing the ARS brand.
• Ability to attend weekly in-office meetings.
• Employment is contingent on a background check in accordance with applicable law.

Pay: $18-20 per hour + UNCAPPED commission

Earning potential: $20–$30/hour on average with commission

**Hours worked must be PRODUCTIVE hours-generating appointments each shift. Hours are managed accordingly

Qualifications:

You don't need HVAC experience to be successful. We are looking for people who are:

• Outgoing personality and willingness to speak with shoppers
• Retail, kiosk, Door-to-Door, or sales experience preferred (not required)
• Ability to stand and walk during shifts
• Weekend and some holiday availability
• Reliable transportation
• Clean, professional appearance representing the ARS brand
• Ability to attend weekly in-office meetings
• Employment is contingent on a background check in accordance with applicable law
