Job summary

What you will enjoy doing*

• Youwill perform customer service activities, including receiving and enteringtelephone orders, answering questions, resolving challenges, and tracingorder status or product shipments


• Serve customers through counter sales in the retail store


• Conduct warehouse duties, including moving cylinders for customers


• And you will provide sales support to the Outside Sales team


• Evaluate and recommend appropriate products, equipment, and programs


• You Will promote add-on sales of gases and high-margin hard goodsaccessories and conduct product demonstrations as an in-store salesrepresentative


• Maintain customer records and files, ensuring accurate account setup andpricing


• Perform outbound calls to retail and small 'B' customers


• You will sell products at minimum discount to achieve target margins andoccasionally support additional locations

What makes you great

• High School Diploma / GED isrequired


• More than one (1+) year(s) ofCustomer Service/Inside Sales/Counter Sales is preferred


• You have excellent customerservice skills


• No DUI/DWI or other alcohol(driving) related convictions within the last ten (10) years


• Have at least two years drivingexperience or have completed a course of instruction from a truck drivertraining school that operates equipment similar to Linde's


• No preventable accidents,license suspensions or other moving violations in the past two (2) years


• A current medical examiner’scertificate or the ability to pass a DOT physical


• Valid class A or B CDL isrequired


• Current Hazmat Endorsement onCDL or ability to obtain Hazmat Endorsement within 60 days of hire


• Reached the age of 21 years orolder


• Able to lift 50lbs
