Job summary

Verizon Retail is hiring a Full-time Retail Sales Associate to grow our team and drive sales in a Verizon retail store. You will generate retail sales, identify customer needs, and recommend complete tech solutions while engaging in ongoing training and community events.

• 1+ years of relevant experience preferred, demonstrated through work or military service.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (schedule known 4 weeks in advance).
• Open to taking additional shifts and earning more income during peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by using passion for technology and customer service to expand the Verizon network.
• Learn and uncover customers' needs by connecting with them and asking questions.
• Position product insights and recommendations to provide a complete top-down sales solution.
• Close sales with strong communication to meet customer needs with simple tech solutions.
• Participate in ongoing training and develop skills in merchandising and inventory management.
• Grow customer base by outbound calls and texts to current Verizon customers interested in products/services.
• Engage with the community at Verizon-sponsored events to expand loyal customers.
