Job summary

Acosta Group is seeking an Associate to perform in-store food and non-food demonstrations, build product knowledge, and maintain a professional appearance. The role may involve up to 25 hours per week and may be adjusted based on business needs, with duties across event setup, execution, and client interactions.

The position emphasizes proactive consumer engagement, clear communication of product benefits, and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months’ related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient in ability to use and navigate on a personal computer or personal mobile device using applications and internal systems.
• Local Food handlers permit may be required.

Responsibilities

• Intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer in a positive manner.
• Communicate features and benefits of the product.
• Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers and knives.
• Maintain a clean, sterile and safe work station using cleaning chemicals.
• Maintains a professional appearance consistent with the requirements of the job.
• Set up and prepare Event Table for execution.
• Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
• Assist with preparation for client visits and audit corrections.
• Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to meet objectives.
• Complete expense reports per Company Policy.
• Submit all on-line requirements on the same day as Event execution.
• Access internet and navigate company systems, including Microsoft Word & Adobe PDF forms.
