Job summary

Product Connections, part of Acosta Group, is seeking a part-time Associate to conduct in-store food and non-food demonstrations and to engage customers with product knowledge. You will learn the products represented and handle setup, serving, and teardown of demonstrations in a retail environment.

The role emphasizes professional appearance, safety, and timely completion of online requirements, with limited travel and up to 25 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months’ related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Computer Skills: Proficient in ability to use and navigate on a personal computer or personal mobile device using applications and internal systems.
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Local Food handlers permit may be required.
• Physical Demands: Stand and walk for the shift; lift up to 25 pounds; use multiple appliances to prepare samples.
• Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
• Work Environment: Retail store environment with limited travel.
• Language Skills: English is the primary language; bilingual skills may be required.

Responsibilities

• Possesses the aptitude and ability to gain adequate knowledge of the products represented.
• Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer in a positive manner.
• Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product.
• Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances like microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers and knives.
• Maintain a clean, sterile and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
• Maintain professional appearance in line with job requirements.
• Set up and prepare Event Table for execution.
• Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
• Assist with client visits and audit corrections.
• Build rapport with store personnel to meet company goals.
• Complete expense reports per Company Policy.
• Submit on-line requirements on the day of Event execution.
• Navigate internet and internal systems using MS Outlook, Word & PDF forms.
