Job summary

Advantage Solutions is seeking an Event Manager for Club Demonstration Services (CDS) in NJ. You will recruit, train and supervise in-store Product Demonstrators, oversee preparation and presentation, and coordinate with managers, vendors and staff to ensure superb service during grand openings.

You will lead teams, ensure food safety, and drive successful events while maintaining strong communication across stakeholders and vendors.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of related experience in retail, hospitality, or food environments.
• Detail oriented with leadership and communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead well performing teams.
• Ability to exercise independent judgement.
• Coaching and counseling employees as needed.
• Flexibility to work in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train and hire part-time staff.
• Oversee product preparation and presentation, including food safety.
• Train Demonstrators in demonstration preparation and customer service.
• Communicate between managers, vendors and demonstrators.
• Participate in grand openings of new locations as required.
