Job summary

Product Connections, a part of Acosta Group, is seeking a part-time associate to perform in-store product demonstrations and educate shoppers about features and benefits. You will prepare, serve, and break down samples using common appliances, while maintaining a clean work area and professional appearance.

Role emphasizes customer engagement, timely submission of expenses and online requirements, and collaboration with store personnel to meet client objectives.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months’ related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Computer Skills: Proficient in ability to use and navigate on a personal computer or personal mobile device using applications and internal systems.
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Local Food handlers permit may be required.

Responsibilities

• Possesses the aptitude to gain adequate knowledge of the products represented.
• Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer in a positive manner.
• Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product.
• Prepare and serve food samples using microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers and knives.
• Maintain a clean, sterile and safe work station using cleaning chemicals.
• Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the requirements of the job.
• Set up and prepare Event Table for execution.
• Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
• Assist with preparation for client visits and audit corrections.
• Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to meet company objectives.
• Complete expense reports as per Company Policy.
• Submit online requirements on the same day as Event execution.
• Access the internet, navigate internal systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view documents including Word & PDF forms.
