Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. in Greeneville, TN is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help customers, operate the register, and keep the store welcoming and orderly.

You will assist with stock, unload trucks, stock shelves, and maintain clean facilities while delivering friendly, efficient service. This part-time role offers flexible hours and opportunities to grow within a national discount retailer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision‑making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain the cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned*.
