Job summary

SAS Retail Services, part of Advantage Solutions, is hiring for an in-store merchandising role in Oakland. You will help retailers by building displays, rotating stock, and tracking inventory to maximize sales opportunities.

You will also support leadership with reporting, training, scheduling, and onboarding new hires. No prior merchandising experience is required as training is provided.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing with friendly, enthusiastic demeanor.
• 18 years or older.
• Physical ability to move, bend, stand, lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable transportation to the work location.
• 1–2 years of merchandising experience.
• Experience leading and training people.
• Ability to record work on a smartphone/tablet after each shift.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Motivated self-starter with bias for action and results.
• Ability to work independently but also contribute to a team.
• Safety-first mentality in a retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-store merchandising support to retailers to meet shoppers' needs.
• Build displays and end caps, reset shelves with product rotation.
• Track inventory to maximize sales opportunities.
• Support leadership with reporting, training, scheduling, and onboarding new hires.
